The Sidewinder Crusader Shad was developed by Sidewinder in conjunction with top Devon charter boat ‘Crusader’.

The brief was to come up with a replica for the small scad, sprats and herring which often form the diet of pollack, cod and bass.

The Sidewinder Crusader Shad has a holographic jig head which is joined to a supple rubber body with a paddle tail to give out the fish attracting vibration.

In deep water fish them on a standard ‘flying collar’ style rig or in shallow water you can use them on a light lure rod fished either vertically or cast and retrieved.
